Cheshire Warehousing Ltd has been established in the UK since 1978 . We are a privately-owned Company operating 50,000 square feet of dry, secure storage with distribution vehicles to complement the service . Additionally we provide a number of self-contained units for operation by those customers wanting to operate their own enterprises . We are strategically located in central Cheshire just off the M6 motorway well able to deliver rapidly into the Northwest and the Midlands in particular. This Company is a member of the United Kingdom Warehousing Association and the Road Haulage Association.
A 'quality-assured' service is guaranteed to customers' specific needs , ranging from spot hire storage , to provision of reserved areas for sole use of customers . Both racked and free-standing goods can be accommodated . Currently the palletised goods we store include water treatment chemicals , packaging , paper rolls , machinery and patterns and we handle drums , kegs , pails bulk bags and IBCs .We operate a mobile ramp that enables us to handle container traffic . We operate a sophisticated computer-based stock control system developed in-house to meet our customers' stock control requirements ; security of goods is enhanced by automatic dialout communication with police and fire services , all our Staff are formally trained in forklift operation and Drivers are Hazchem-trained as appropriate to the products carried . Ancillary warehouse services are available dependent on the customers' specification and all our equipment is modern and regularly maintained.
Transportation is by modern curtainsider vehicles to all parts of the UK in either full or part loads . Some vehicles are equipped with tail-lift facilities to enable specialist high-tech machine deliveries to be made .
From the outset, we have gained a reputation for supplying a first-class flexible service with the needs of our customers always of paramount importance to us . We obtained BS5750 quality standard accreditation in 1992 and have maintained and improved on this and its successor standard ISO 9002 and continue to seek quality management system improvements.
We operate from two sites , one at Winsford and one at Byley, near Middlewich . We offer a range of warehousing services and would welcome any opportunity to offer a tailor-made package to overseas Companies looking to expand into the UK market as well as to UK-based Companies requiring outside storage (and distribution).
